Almost everything on PilPili is made in-house: the games, the artwork drawn in code, and the sound generated in code.

Word list

Five Guess checks your guesses against YAWL, a public-domain English word list compiled by M. Leo Cooper and built on Alan Beale's ENABLE. Its author placed it in the public domain: "The YAWL list, word.list, is in the Public Domain. There are no restrictions on its use or distribution." We use the five-letter words from it, with a small number of offensive terms removed.

Crowd cheer

The stadium cheer heard in Spot Kick Hero and Haath Cricket is "Crowd Cheer and Applause" by Dragon Studio, from Pixabay, used under the Pixabay Content License, which permits free use and modification with no attribution required — credited here anyway, with thanks. We ship a short trimmed excerpt inside each game.

Beyond the two works listed above, every game, all the artwork and every sound is made in-house and written in code.
